The first treat I tried was the Spicy Sriracha Popcorn. "Lovers of our Sriracha Roasted Cashews and Sriracha Pop Pops, meet your new best friend...Sriracha Popcorn. We infused dense, whole grain popcorn with Sriracha (everyone’s favorite condiment), added a dash of vinegar, a pinch of salt and just a little bit of sweetness. It’s fiery, sweet, tangy, and good to the last kernel."

Wowwie, wowwie! If you want a hot, tasteful, different kind of popcorn, this is the treat for you. I love some sriracha, but over time I've learned when enough is enough, and this is perfect. Plus, who doesn't love popcorn! Uh, yeah... those cashews are jalapeno. And, as much as I love cashews, that's all I have to say about that.
I next tried the Mini Belgian Waffles. "We wanted to take a European-style Belgian waffle and turn it into a cookie. Frankly, we nailed it. <Mic drop.> They’re our #1 most selected snack. (These waffles sell like hotcakes.) Buttery, crunchy, and just simply delicious. Just don’t call them “Belgium” waffles. They hate that."
Then I had the Blueberry Greek Yogurt Pretzels. "Tangy, sweet, crunchy, and pretty to look at - this snack’s got it all. It’s no wonder our Blueberry Greek Yogurt Pretzels are one of our most popular snacks. You know what makes them really special? We’re one of the few places you can find Greek yogurt coated pretzels in blueberry flavor. We just blue your mind, didn’t we?"
The Belgian waffles are very much like a soft cookie. This is something I would eat regularly. Blueberry yogurt pretzels... YUM! Like a pretzel covered in chocolate, but instead, blueberry. They are delicious.
The Lemon Tea Biscuits were next. "You can, as the name implies, enjoy these craveworthy, buttery delicious cookies with tea or hey, even coffee! They’re made with simple ingredients, just like the original English tea biscuits, like flour, butter, powdered sugar, honey, and lemon flavor. Whether you choose to eat ‘em, dunk ‘em, or make into a pie, the possibilities are endless."
I finally got the Dried Pears I ordered in March. "We like our ingredient lists, like we like our dried fruit–short and sweet. These pears are no exception. We start with juicy pears and dry them without any sulfates to hinder their mildly sweet flavor and chewy texture."
Honestly, the lemon tea biscuits don't have much lemon flavor. They are soft, which I appreciate, but are not lemony. Like, at all. The dried pears... I LOVE! I love dried fruit and I love pears. So what's not to like? These are very toned down, as pears often are. I'm not sharing.
All in all, this was a great box. The only treats I wasn't obsessed with were the jalapeno cashews and the "lemon" tea biscuits. I don't think I could've liked the cashews with a jalapeno flavoring no matter how it was presented. But the tea biscuits could've had a much stronger lemon flavor. It was a wonderful mix of spicy and savory.
Great job, NatureBox!
