Mugler Addict by Thierry Mugler (July 2016)

MUGLER Addict is one of my favorite subscription boxes, and due tothe fact that it only comes four times a year, it always pops up when I'm not expecting it. I get very excited to see that pale blue box come in the mail.

MUGLER Addict includes an informative card providing descriptions of each item. In this July 2016 box, I received:
















ANGEL STAR COLLECTION Eau de Parfum (0.17oz, ~$12.42) - Captured in a faceted gem sculpted like a diamond star,  Angel Eau de Parfum is the ultimate secret of absolute seduction.

The Angel Star Collection EDP is heavenly as per usual (no pun intended, or maybe it is). And thanks to Mugler Addict, I am amassing quite the adorable caboodle of beautiful tiny perfume bottles to display. The body lotion has a foil seal which I'm happy about. I love Alien. It's out of this world (okay, yeah, that one was definitely intended). But my skin is VERY sensitive to heavily fragranced shower gels or lotions so I'll pass this along. 

Les Exceptions is a unisex line that I am really digging. Over the Musk may be my favorite Mugler parfum. EVER. And here's the thing... I hate musk. What's surprising is that you can pick out the woody, floral and black pepper scents, and they create a uniquely Mugler scentsation (I did it again). Probably the most distinctly unisex fragrance I've smelled. I can absolutely see me wearing this, or enjoying it on my husband. It's very androgynous, and very sexy. 

I'm head over heals for A*MEN. Too bad it's only for men. No, but really, this is another one that would be lovely on a man or woman although it is listed as a men's fragrance. Thierry Mugler's male fragrances very often are sensual enough for both sexes, because really, we often choose our own perfumes/colognes based on what WE like. So it only makes scents (I apologize) that we should like our partner's choice in the same way. I think the Mugler Cologne, while descriptively unisex, is pretty feminine. I'm always so pleased when a perfumer's list of notes on a fragrance is spot on. This indeed is fresh, intoxicating, light and energizing, and you can pick out the white musk, citrusiness (sp) and whatever green is. I agree! Whatever green is smells great! And I too would probably describe it as green!

A MUGLER Addict subscription is $50 per year and you get four boxes a year, which comes out to $12.50 a box. If I cannot find the same product size on the site for sale, I figure the cost of the fragrance samples and minis based on the 1.7oz size, or what's available. Not including the value of Angel jewel temporary tattoos which I am unable to determine, the total value was $33.86, so that's great! I haven't yet tried the tattoos, but when I get to feeling a little adventurous, these will be a lot of fun on a night out.

So far, I'm really glad that I decided to become a MUGLER Addict. Wish I'd done it sooner. Cannot wait to see what they have in store for me next quarter!
